أكدت اليابان مجددًا موقفها الراسخ بعدم الاعتراف بالكيان الانفصالي، خلال اجتماع كبار المسؤولين التحضيري لمؤتمر تيكاد-9 الذي انعقد اليوم الثلاثاء بيوكوهاما، عشية انطلاق المؤتمر الدولي لطوكيو حول التنمية في إفريقيا.
وأوضح رئيس الوفد الياباني أن وجود الكيان الانفصالي في الاجتماعات لا يغير موقف اليابان الثابت بعدم اعترافها به كدولة، مشيرًا إلى أن بلاده رفضت توجيه دعوة له واكتفت بدعوة الدول التي تربطها علاقات دبلوماسية مع اليابان، بينما كانت دعوة جميع الأعضاء من مسؤولية لجنة الاتحاد الإفريقي.
وتأتي هذه التصريحات بعد أيام من تأكيد وزير الشؤون الخارجية الياباني، تاكيشي إيوايا، على موقف بلاده الثابت بعدم الاعتراف بما يسمى بـ “الجمهورية العربية الصحراوية الديمقراطية”، مؤكدًا التزام اليابان بالقانون الدولي وممارسات الأمم المتحدة.
